Fire Prevention Night & Brat Fry at Fremont-Wolf River Fire Department

FREMONT, Wis. — October is National Fire Prevention Week, and the Fremont-Wolf River Fire Department is inviting the community to take part in an evening dedicated to safety, education, and family fun.
The department will host its annual Fire Prevention Night and Brat Fry on Thursday, October 10, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Station 1, located at 600 WI-110 in Fremont.
The event will include:
Station tours and fire truck displays
A hands-on smokehouse experience
ThedaStar helicopter landing around 4:00 p.m.
Fire and EMS demonstrations
Safety lessons on using extinguishers and testing smoke alarms
Activities for children and families
Brat fry and refreshments
Prizes and giveaways
Fire Prevention Week runs from October 5–11, 2025, and serves as a reminder of the importance of preparedness and awareness. The Fremont-Wolf River Fire Department hopes to see community members come out to meet their local firefighters, learn valuable safety tips, and enjoy an evening together in support of public safety.
