FREMONT, Wis. — It’s the final weekend for Haunted Hollow, plus Fremont is buzzing with costume contests, live music, and fall traditions all weekend long. From the 59th Annual Fremont American Legion Chili Supper & Pie Social to rock shows and after-parties at local favorites like Hahn-A-Lula, Wolf River Lodge, and Metz Bar & Grill — there’s something for everyone along the Wolf River.

Friday, October 31 — Halloween Night

Boos at the Boathouse – Costume Contest Crawl

Location: 214 Wolf River Dr, Fremont, WI 54940

Although the scavenger hunt was canceled, the party continues with costume contests at three stops:

9 PM – The Buss Stop - 223 Wolf River Dr
10 PM – The Boathouse - 214 Wolf River Dr
11 PM – The Bridge Bar & Restaurant -101 W Main st

Specials include $5 Black Tide cocktails, a Trick-or-Shot wheel, beer pong, and cash prizes ($100 first place / $50 second place).

Wolf River Lodge – Halloween Party

Location: 8839 Wolf River Road, Fremont

Time: 8 PM – Midnight

Band: Vice Versa

The Wolf River Lodge hosts its annual Halloween Party with drink specials and live music.

$25 wristbands to drink
$1 domestic beers and rail drinks
$2 call drinks during the band
Costume contest with prizes for Best Overall, Best Couple, and Scariest Costume (judging at 10 PM).

Saturday, November 1 — The After-Party Night

Metz Bar & Grill – Halloween Party

Time: 7 PM

The Metz Bar & Grill will host a Halloween Party with a costume contest and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Snacks and music by DJ Josh will keep the dance floor going. The kitchen closes at 7 PM, so come early for dinner.

Hahn-A-Lula Resort – Haunt-A-Lula with Cherry Pie

Location: 8861 S Wolf River Rd, Fremont

Time: 8 PM

Live rock by Cherry Pie with a $10 cover charge and major costume prizes:

$500 first place
$300 second place
$100 third place

Dinner and drinks begin at 4 PM in the main bar and restaurant. The banquet hall and back bar open around 6:30 PM.

Additional Event

American Legion Chili Supper & Pie Social

Location: American Legion Hall, 322 Waupaca Street, Fremont

Time: 3:00 – 6:30 PM (or until gone)

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 391 will host its 59th annual Chili Supper, serving chili with all the fixings, including crackers, rye bread, cheese, pickles, coffee, and milk.

$10 per person
Pie Social with slices for $3 and limited whole pies available
Big Raffle with baskets and gift certificates; drawing at 5:45 PM
Bar open throughout the event

Proceeds support local veterans and community projects through the American Legion Auxiliary in Fremont.
