Gregory D. Koehler, 59, of Appleton, went to his heavenly home on May 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 3, 1965 in New London, to Darrell and Karen (Bartel) Koehler.
Greg was baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega and attended St. Peter grade school for the first few years. His family then moved to Plover, so he finished grade school at Divine Lutheran School, and was confirmed at Divine Lutheran Church. Greg attended and graduated high school in Stevens Point. After high school, he went on to own and operate a flower and crystal store. He supplied flowers for many events in the Stevens Point area. A little while later, he opened a furniture store in Stevens Point for a few years before moving the business to Appleton. Once he relocated to Appleton, he also opened a laundry business called "Spin Fresh" and worked tirelessly to make it successful. On top of all his entrepreneurship, he also obtained his Real Estate license and sold many homes in the Appleton area.
Greg loved boating, traveling, and shopping with his mother. He developed many lasting friends wherever he went. Greg was a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenville.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Karen Koehler; brother, Kevin Koehler; two nephews: Derrick and Kody Koehler; he is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, his special friend Jimmy, and many other friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
The Memorial Service for Greg will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega with Rev. Timothy Dolan officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. at the Celebration Center. Burial of cremains will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega.
