Michael T. Oprean

February 23, 1944 - December 11th, 2024

Michael T. Oprean, age 80 of Weyauwega, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. He was born in Milwaukee on February 23, 1944, son of the late Matthew Oprean and Ann Casey.

Michael worked at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee for 32 years, retiring in 1997. He was an avid Star Wars collector and loved watching movies.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; children: Victoria Hackbarth, Danielle Dauphin, Kelly Oprean, and Terri (Ann Marie Henninger) Messig; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Michael is further survived by siblings, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held at a later date.
