Peter Hugh Housum Obituary

Peter H. Housum, age 82, of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his home.  He was born on September 19, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Hugh and Janet(Bates)Housum.  On August 1, 1986 he married Karen Woller.  She preceded him in death on December 8, 2016.  Pete loved spending time with Karen, especially going to the casino, and he greatly missed her presence in the years since her passing.    

Pete worked for Lewis Screw Company for many years and later owned and operated Pete's Painting in Fremont for over 20 years.  He loved hunting and fishing. His life was filled with love and laughter, and his presence touched so many lives.   

Pete is survived by his son, Mike and Patti Ochs-Housum; his daughter, Kallie Housum; his step-daughter, Rhonda(Ronnie)Vaughn; his and step-son, Randy (Lisa) Jensen; a brother, Scott Housum; and two special cousins, Kris and Cindy, other relatives and friends.    

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen and a brother Dan Housum.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Metz Bar and Grill, 9686 County Rd. HH, Fremont..
