Susanne Kay Thiel Obituary

March 5, 1941 — September 14, 2025

Susanne Kay Thiel, age 84, of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born in Pendleton, OR on March 5, 1941, daughter of the late Everette and Charlane (McKinney) Perigo. Sue married Daniel Thiel in 1989, he preceded her in death on February 21, 2014.

Sue was a receptionist at Chain-O-Lakes Clinic in Waupaca for many years and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and their Ladies Aid for many years.

Sue loved to travel, garden, volunteer in the community and spend time with family and friends. She had a great sense for fashion. Sue would never say no to cake for breakfast, or ice cream any time of day. She was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Melanie (Tim) Heller, their children: Jessica (Gerald) Carter, Timmy Jr, Christopher (Ann), Benjamin (Becca), Brian (Jolynn), Anthony, daughter-in-law: Teresa Beauchamp; Paul (Pamela) Thiel, and their children: Joshua, Stephanie (Ben) Shippy, Matthew Thiel, Jason (Jennifer) Thiel, their children: Caitlyn, Carley, Amelia, and Alec (Big Al); great- grandchildren; sister-in-law: Carol (Duane) Hanson; brother-in-law: William (Sharon) Thiel.

Besides her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by her son: Shawn Beauchamp and grandson Shane Beauchamp.

A memorial service for Sue will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, with Rev. Aaron Kristopeit officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 9:30 - 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
