WEYAUWEGA — The smell of popcorn, the glow of the midway, and the proud sight of 4-H ribbons — few things capture small-town life quite like the Waupaca County Fair.

For more than 150 years, the fairgrounds in Weyauwega have hosted one of Wisconsin’s oldest and most beloved rural fairs, celebrating local agriculture, youth projects, and community pride.
Now, as organizers prepare for the 153rd Waupaca County Fair in 2026, they’re inviting the public to help choose the fair’s theme.
Fairgoers Get to Pick the 2026 Theme
The fair board is asking for community submissions to name next year’s theme and tagline (for example, “Red, White and You — Year 152!”). The winner will receive four season passes to the 2026 fair.

Ideas can be emailed to exhibitorcoordinator@gmail.com by December 31, 2025. The board will vote early next year and announce the winning theme on social media.
A Century of Local Tradition
The Waupaca County Fair has been part of life in Weyauwega since the 1870s. Beyond fair week, the grounds host events year-round and remain a gathering place for families across the region.
Each August, the fair brings together generations — from youth in 4-H and FFA to local volunteers and longtime fairgoers. It’s a showcase of community pride that continues to grow with every season.
