The Weyauwega-Fremont School District wrapped up its 2025 fall musical with an enthusiastic crowd for Mamma Mia! this past weekend at the Weyauwega-Fremont High School Performing Arts Center.

Directed by Molly Suehs with assistance from Molly Brown, the production brought the timeless music of ABBA to life through vibrant performances, colorful sets, and impressive student talent. The pit orchestra, led by Andy Schmidt, helped fill the auditorium with energy from the show’s opening number, “Honey, Honey,” to its final encore of “I Do, I Do, I Do.”

The cast featured Emma Murphy as Sophie Sheridan, Renee Buhrow as Donna Sheridan, Parker Suehs as Sam Carmichael, Isaac Leyva as Bill Austin, and Devin Mobley-Hassell as Harry Bright. Supporting roles included Alyssa Linders as Tanya, Anna vanMaastricht as Rosie, and a talented ensemble that showcased the district’s growing performing arts program.

Audiences filled the seats for all three performances on November 1–2, celebrating the students’ hard work and the dedication of the crew, music department, and volunteers who made the show possible.

Special thanks were given to the WF Music Boosters, the WF Administration and Staff, and the many families and community members who helped with sets, costumes, and concessions.
For those who attended, it was a weekend full of music, laughter, and community pride - proof that live theater is alive and well in Weyauwega-Fremont.
