Honoring Heroes - Nov 11th: Join Former Navy SEAL Phillip W. Koontz at the Fremont River Deck for Veterans Day

The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce and Veteran’s Backyard Bash are teaming up to host and sponsor a special Veterans Day free event featuring former Navy SEAL and motivational speaker Phillip W. Koontz on Tuesday, November 11 at the Fremont River Deck, 204 Wolf River Drive.

Doors open at 4:00 PM, with live music by Illegal Formation beginning at 5:00 PM before the presentation and again afterward. The free event will feature a cash bar and food available for purchase.
Koontz, a former Navy SEAL with more than a decade of military experience, now works as a leadership coach and public speaker. His talks draw from his personal journey of perseverance, teamwork, and mental toughness — lessons learned from the grueling world of special operations and the challenges of life after service. Through his motivational storytelling, he helps audiences apply those same principles to business, relationships, and personal growth.
Attendees can expect a powerful and emotional presentation that highlights courage, resilience, and purpose. Phillip W. Koontz is known for connecting deeply with audiences, offering both practical advice and inspiring takeaways to overcome adversity and lead with integrity.
